Miss Penelope Purr-Bright - an enchanting children's story
My life circumstances at the time were the inspiration behind the Tale of Miss Penelope Purr-Bright. I wanted big change and felt that perhaps a little magic was needed, so I decided that I would write a story that was magical. This I knew would be a creative way of allowing my overly concerned mind a rest. I have found that by using the simple process of putting a problem down we can then find the solution or as I like to say soul-ution.
I had never written a story before, although I am not a stranger to reading books or writing about my observations on life and of course Life coaching. I needn’t have worried, Miss P.B. quickly sat herself down in a very comfortable place in my imagination and everything else fell into place amazingly and magically just as I had wanted.
I am delighted to say that as I finish one story another follows as if…yes, by magic; my only problem now is to manage the queue that is forming, which is a very nice problem to have.
In the story a family are transported, as if by magic to a much better life thanks to the gracious Miss P.B. and in our real life story we too experienced some magic of our own and a much wanted move occurred.
The Tale of Miss Penelope Purr-Bright, a most extraordinarily fine cat.
The Tale of Miss Penelope Purr-Bright is a delightful children’s story for children and adults to enjoy together and for older children to read alone.
Along with her great big bag Miss Penelope Purr-Bright arrives early one morning at No 8 Royal Avenue where she finds a family who she thinks could just do with some of her magic.
Miss P.B. as she is affectionately called is unusual in most ways; she is a wealthy cat who dresses in Victorian clothing loves to dance and is looking for her family. This family she decides shall be chosen by her as any known existing members appear to be nil.
